Michael ‘Mike’ Echlin – Blending Technology, Music, and Community Service

With a rich career spanning 33 years in the technology sector, I have dedicated my life to innovation and creativity. My journey in tech began post-college, where I started by assembling computers and swiftly progressed to building extensive solutions for prominent institutions, including HSBC, U.S. Air Force, Motorola and Redbox. My passion for technology led me to pivotal roles in developing software and data products, often spearheading teams to bring these visions to life. My expertise extends into consulting, especially in the realms of data solutions and big data.

Parallel to my tech career, music has been my heartbeat since the age of 7. A multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and singer, I’ve recorded over 200 songs and have been an active performer since 15, gracing stages both solo and with various bands. This unique blend of tech acumen and musical talent has not only been a personal journey but also a means to give back to the community.

Family is central to my life, being a proud father of three and a grandfather of four. My commitment to community service is evident through my involvement in charity organizations like Women’s Heart Health, where I’ve combined music and philanthropy to raise awareness and funds for a cause close to my heart. Additionally, I’ve been instrumental in organizing and performing at live music events for several local organizations.

I bring to the table a unique fusion of technological prowess, artistic expression, and a deep-seated desire to make a difference. Through volunteering, I aim to leverage my skills and experiences to enrich my community, foster connections, and inspire positive change.
